Skillet Nachos

Looking for an easy way to use ground beef AND want to raise the bar on your next nacho night? Make these Skillet Nachos with 1 Source Ground Beef! Since 1 Source is made with all the best cuts of American Black Angus...think brisket, chuck, sirloin...yum... and no trimmings, you can actually call these babies STEAK nachos. 

We made up a big batch of our Taco Meat Supreme, then went to work building our steak nachos right in a cast iron skillet. Here's what we stacked before the oven:

  • A mix of yellow and blue corn tortilla chips
  • Taco meat
  • Shredded Colby Jack cheese

We put the whole thing in a 425 degree F oven and baked until the cheese was melted, about 8-10 minutes. Watch closely - it may take a bit more or a bit less time for the cheese to melt, depending on how much you use. 

Once the skillet came out of the oven, we topped our nachos with the following: 

  • Fresh pico de gallo
  • Fresh jalapeño slices 
  • Sour cream and 
  • Chopped cilantro
